One of the big draws coming up at the box office is going to be the sequel to Dan Brown's popular novel-turned-movie, THE DA VINCI CODE, ANGELS & DEMONS. Yeah, the book is really the prequel to the first movie, but that's not stopping anyone. The bad part is that there's a replacement for this week's hottie or nottie selection. The good part is that she was freed up to be able to play Coco Chanel, a role that should get her an Oscar nod, if my political Academy rules memory serves me right.

Is Tautou cute because of AMELIE or did she always just emanate this natural effervescence? If I could speak French, I'd probably just write this entire piece in that language, as I don't really have the words to describe how I love Tautou's face.

Never mind the fact that she can actually, well... act. In DIRTY PRETTY THINGS she has you sparing the dramatic sympathy as she goes for the throat of what she wants without mourning the loss of her innocence with histrionics like so many American actresses would have gone for.

Tautou is cute, yes. She's also amazingly womanly when you really stare at her long enough. 33 years young and yet ageless already, there's a old school movie star quality about her which can't be created with the right amount of just any genes. This is a beauty which is cultivated and grows with each passing year. Or that could just be my opinion.
